The courses draw on a simple, structured method -- The 5-Step NVivo Approach by ConcorsCo — which provides a clear pathway for working with qualitative data, from setting up your project through to developing meaningful insights. Although described as steps, this is not a linear process - you will move between them as your analysis develops. You can download a one-page overview of the approach here. The Working Confidently with NVivo course introduces this approach and supports you in applying it within your own research. The Working Deeply with NVivo course builds on this foundation, focusing on refining your analysis, exploring patterns in greater depth, and strengthening your overall analytical process. Many participants begin with Working Confidently with NVivo and progress to Working Deeply with NVivo as their projects develop and their analysis becomes more complex. Together, these courses provide a clear and structured approach to working with qualitative data in NVivo, supporting you to build confidence, structure, and analytical depth over time. Both courses are delivered live online over four weeks, allowing time to work with NVivo between sessions. Overview This NVivo training course provides a structured introduction to using NVivo in qualitative research projects. It is designed for those who are new to NVivo and want to develop confidence in using it effectively in their own work. Working Confidently with NVivo provides a clear and steady introduction to using NVivo in real research projects. The focus is not simply on features, but on building strong foundations for organising, managing, and analysing your data. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident working independently in NVivo, with a solid approach that supports rigorous research practice.
