Advanced certification for experienced NVivo users.
Overview
The NVivo Certified Expert Program is designed for experienced NVivo users who wish to formalise and demonstrate advanced capability. The programme is delivered using NVivo 15 (current supported version). Experienced users working with recent supported versions (NVivo 13 (2020 R1) or later) are also welcome.
This self-paced, online certification enables experienced users to demonstrate advanced NVivo capability through structured assessment, including a knowledge-based exam and a practical project challenge.
Certification recognises not just familiarity with the software, but confident and competent application in real research contexts.
The programme is Lumivero-approved and independently delivered by Fiona Wiltshier, NVivo Platinum Certified Trainer.
What the Program Includes
Format
Prerequisites
This programme is designed for candidates with established experience in both NVivo and qualitative research.
Applicants to the Certified Expert course should have a solid foundation in qualitative research. This may include a combination of formal study in qualitative analysis and/or a minimum of five years’ practical experience conducting qualitative research.
Participants are also expected to have strong working knowledge of the core components of NVivo and to have completed or substantially developed at least two projects in recent versions of NVivo (NVivo 13 (2020 R1) onwards) within the past six months.
The Certified Expert Program is not introductory training. It focuses on advanced use of NVivo and assesses how candidates apply the software within realistic research contexts.
The certification assessment is delivered using NVivo 15 (current supported version). Experienced users working with recent supported versions (NVivo 13 or later) are welcome — please feel free to get in touch to discuss how this can work for you. Access to NVivo 15 is recommended.
